Personalized Event Reels: Python & FFmpeg Automation

Built a Python pipeline that turns participant data and event photos into personalized vertical reels.

PythonFFmpegVideo ProcessingScriptingAutomation

Project Overview

Built a Python pipeline that turns participant data and event photos into personalized vertical reels. The workflow supports CSV batch processing, category-specific video assets, photo selection, transitions, name/result overlays, music, and MP4 export. I delivered a command-line interface, structured output responses, validation, and handoff documentation. The sample is a silent excerpt from a delivered reel, with participant-name sections omitted.

The Challenge

Event participant data and photos needed to become consistent personalized vertical videos through a repeatable batch workflow.

Our Solution

Built a Python/FFmpeg pipeline with CSV input, category-specific assets, photo selection, transitions, name/result overlays, music, and MP4 export. Provided a command-line interface, structured responses, validation, and documentation.

The Results

Delivered the reel-generation pipeline and sample outputs. The gallery includes a silent nine-second excerpt with participant-name sections removed. This case covers the original generation scope, excluding the separate finish-line clipping follow-up.
