Who we are

Rosecraft Studios is a software development studio operated by Corey Rosamond. If you have a question about this policy or about information we hold, contact us at hello@rosecraft.studio.

What we collect

We collect information in two ways: what you send us directly, and a small amount recorded automatically when you use the site.

• Contact form: your name, email address, and message. Optionally your company, budget range and project type, if you choose to provide them.
• Contact form, recorded automatically: the IP address and browser user-agent string of the request. We record these to identify and block automated abuse of the form.
• Newsletter: your email address, and whether the subscription has been confirmed or withdrawn.
• Google Analytics: only after you accept analytics cookies, we measure public page views, campaign sources, browser and device information, approximate location, and successful contact-form submissions. We do not send Google the names, email addresses, messages or other fields you enter in our contact form. Administration and newsletter confirmation or unsubscribe pages are excluded.

Why we use it

We use what you send us only to do the thing you contacted us about.

• To reply to your enquiry and discuss the work you asked about.
• To send a confirmation email when you request the newsletter, and newsletter updates after you confirm. Confirmation emails include a link to unsubscribe or cancel.
• To keep the site working and protect it from abuse.
• To meet legal or accounting obligations where they apply.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Who else processes it

A small number of service providers process data on our behalf so the site can function. They act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

• Our hosting provider, which stores the site and its database.
• Our transactional email provider, which delivers notifications and newsletter messages.
• Our error-monitoring provider, where monitoring is enabled, which records technical diagnostics when something breaks.
• Google, which provides Google Analytics when you accept analytics cookies. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled for this integration.

How long we keep it

Contact submissions are kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any engagement that follows, and are deleted when they are no longer needed. Unsubscribing stops newsletter updates; we retain the subscription status to honor that choice. You can ask us to delete your contact submission or subscription record at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, or to object to how we use it. To exercise any of these, email us and we will respond.

Cookies

Language: we use an offline IP-to-country database and your browser language to suggest English or Simplified Chinese. Your IP address is not sent to the geolocation provider. When you switch language, a necessary cookie remembers your choice for one year; you can change it with the language selector or clear it in your browser.

The site uses necessary cookies, including a session cookie if you sign in to the administration area. Google Analytics loads and may set analytics cookies only after you select Accept. Decline keeps it off. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer; withdrawing stops further analytics tracking. Your choice is saved in your browser. You can also delete existing cookies in your browser settings.

Children

This site is intended for business users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new effective date.
