eBay API integration
An Excel-to-eBay pricing workflow built around the client's part-number spreadsheet.
E-Commerce · Martin C. · 2026

Project overview
The client wanted to start with an Excel file of part numbers and bring eBay pricing information back into the same sheet. This was a focused integration engagement: connect an existing working document to an external data source and explain the resulting behavior clearly.
The challenge
The brief requested current and past pricing for the listed parts. That request required distinguishing the information available through the chosen eBay interfaces from information that could not be assumed to be available for every item. Keeping returned data associated with the original part-number rows was central to the workflow.
Our solution
Delivered an eBay integration around the supplied spreadsheet workflow, with direct communication about how the integration behaved. The diagram shows the requested input, lookup, and output sequence; it does not claim universal historical-pricing access or a measured match rate.
The results
The client highlighted quick answers, accurate explanations, professionalism, and a quick turnaround in the completed-contract review. No pricing-coverage percentage or processing-volume benchmark is published for this engagement.
